A child of God
"But as many as received
Him, to them
He gave the right to become children
of God, even to those who believe in
His name"
(John 1:12).
A joint heir with Christ
"and if children, heirs
also, heirs of God
and fellow heirs with Christ, if
indeed we
suffer with Him in order that we may
also be glorified with Him" (Romans 8:17).
A new creation
"Therefore if any man is in
Christ, he
is a new creature; the old things
passed
away; behold, new things have come"
(2 Corinthians 5:17).
Chosen of God and dearly
loved
"And so those who have been
chosen of God, holy and beloved"
(Colossians 3:12).
Appointed by Christ to
bear His fruit
"You did not choose Me, but
I chose you,
and appointed you, that you should
go and bear fruit" (John 15:16).
Salt of the earth
"You are the salt of the
earth" (Matthew 5:13).
Loved and accepted
"...but you have received a
spirit of adoption as sons by which
we cry out, "Abba! Father!" (Romans 8:15).
Forgiven
"having canceled out the
certificate
of debts consisting of decrees
against us and
which was hostile to us; and He has
taken it out
of the way, having nailed it to the
cross" (Colossians 2:14).
Free to live
"If therefore the Son shall
make you
free, you shall be free indeed"
(John 8:36).
No more condemnation
"There is therefore now no
condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).

As children of God, we receive from
our Father
tender loving care that is full of
compassion, love,
understanding, and mercy.
In Jesus we are precious children
who have received
mercy and pardon. We are
accepted, loved, and cherished. We have been set free
from condemnation, guilt,
and shame.
What release - freedom!
