"O, Lord, Thou has searched me and known me.
Thou doest know when I sit down and when I rise up; Thou does understand my thought from afar." Psalms 139:1-2
Is it not wonderfully comforting to realize
that God knows all about us? He knows
exactly where we are at any given moment. He
knows our thoughts and cares, our trials and
circumstances, our hurts and wounds, and our
likes and dislikes. How awesome to
serve a Lord that knows everything about us!
In His infinite wisdom, He chose the right
time for each of us to be born; the exact
place; and the right family so that each of
us could fulfill a plan that no other person
could.
Since He knows exactly who we were meant to
be, should we not look to Him to find our
worth and value? We cannot allow others to
dictate or plan our lives because God is our
creator and knows exactly who we were made
to be. He created each of us with unique
abilities and talents and in Jesus we find
our true self and worth.

Look with me at an awesome
characteristic
trait of our Father in heaven:
Infinitely Wise
|
familiar with
our genetic makeup
knows our unique
personality
knows every
circumstance that touches
our lives
knows exactly
what is best in any given
circumstance or event
understands why we
think, feel, and act the way we
do
knows about our
family circumstances and
background
|
Our heart should feed upon the comfort
of such wisdom that is founded in
His great and abiding love for each of
us. He knows exactly what is best for
us. In faith and trust, we need to
abide in Jesus no matter what we must
endure because the Good Shepherd will
lay us down in beautiful green pastures
of rest and lead us to still waters of
peace and hope.

Now look with me at our Father's
response to us:
Love and Kindness
|
Our Father
will guide, correct, and
deliver
us in justice.
With deep compassion,
He carries us.
He will always deal with us
in a
fair and just manner.
As we place our trust in His
ability to care for us, He
will deliver
us from bad circumstances
that are affecting us.
He knows exactly what makes
us
happy and sad so He will
work in our lives to bring
goodness and
hope
to us each day.
Our Father is always just in
the
ways He deals with us, and
He is always
fair and kind to us, even
when
He has to correct us.
|
Let God's deep compassion and abiding
love cause us to take the first step of
faith and trust Him to do what is right
and good in our life. We can do this by
choosing to believe the Word and
becoming obedient from the heart. We can
choose to place full trust in God's
love, His ability, and His good thoughts
toward us.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect
love casts out fear" (I John 4:18)
