My beloved found me walking in a wilderness of desperation, living with shame and fear. I felt so alone and afraid. I was so barren and desolate but he saw beauty in me and invited me to come near to him.  He then wrapped me in his love and offered me eternal forgiveness.

He clothed me in gladness and adorned my heart with a beautiful garment of salvation. He replaced my spirit of heaviness with a spirit of  joy. He placed a beautiful garland around my neck and took away the chains of fear and shame.   I am no longer barren and desolate because he has filled me with hope and has given me a peace that I had never known was possible to have.

He told me about his plans for our life together. He said that he desires for me to be a garden of hope which will be watered by the dew of his love, joy, kindness, and goodness. He promised to turn the barren places of my heart into a delightful stream of His beauty and majesty.

He cares for me in gladness and joy. I rejoice in his comforting words and grow strong from the gentleness of his touch. He is my beloved. I am well pleased by his generous loving heart and the truths that he imparts to my heart make me alive and whole. I languish no more in my sorrow because he hears my cry and fulfills my longings.

He walks hand in hand with me and is always present to keep me from harm. The sound of His voice makes a melody in my heart. He is my beloved. He lovingly calls me by my name. He enjoys being with me. He longs for me to be near Him because I am his beloved.

... Isaiah 61...

Children of God, glorify His name for we are his planting!
